Farewell from Dr. Hashimi and Dr. Pelaez
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued trust and confidence in permitting us to care for you and your dental needs through the years. It is with mixed emotions that we are announcing the sale of our practice.
In an effort to ensure that our patients continue to receive the best possible care, we have carefully evaluated a number of candidates who were interested in assuming our practice. We selected Dr. Sonchanin Chinsawananon, or “Dr. Chin”, a caring and empathetic dentist who possesses the highest qualifications and is well skilled in all phases of restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Chin is a graduate from Advanced Prosthodontic Program at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, USC. He also later became a board-certified prosthodontist. Dr.Chin has been practicing dentistry in the United States for more than 6 years. Dr. Chin, his wife, Intira, and their two children, Indy and Arty, live in the beautiful city of Arcadia. Dr. Chin will be expanding the number of days and hours during which appointments can be made, making it easier to schedule appointments. The office location and telephone numbers will remain the same. We are also happy to let you know that Nicole and Cree, who have assisted us, will stay on with Dr. Chin.
We are confident you will be pleased with Dr. Chin and will extend to him the same courtesy and loyalty that you have given us. Dr. Chin and the team have worked closely together to ensure a smooth transition in response to your specific needs.
We want to thank all of you. Many of you were more than patients, but friends who we looked forward to seeing at each and every visit. We urge you to come in to meet Dr. Chin and allow him to continue the high quality of care that we have always tried to provide you.

Introduction from Dr. Chin
It is with the greatest pleasure that I write to introduce myself and express my gratitude and excitement at having the opportunity to provide dental services for you and your family.
I am Dr. Sonchanin Chinsawananon (Dr. Chin) and I look forward to addressing all of your dental needs. I am passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and achieve a beautiful smile. When people ask me why I enjoy being a dentist, I explain that I love to build personal relationships with my patients and treat the person, not just the tooth. Dentistry is my passion, as it requires right combination of art and science.
After finishing the Advanced Prosthodontic Program at USC’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in 2017, I worked as an associate dentist in private practices in cities such as El Paso, TX, Long Beach, Upland, and Arcadia. Meanwhile, I also became a board-certified prosthodontist.
My wife, Intira, and I live in Arcadia. She works as the research director at the department of OB-GYN at USC Keck School of Medicine. We have two wonderful sons: seven-year-old Indy and six-month-old Arty. They are outgoing and very energetic. We love trying out new foods, traveling, hiking and National Parks. Our favorite sport is basketball.
I, along with Nicole and Cree look forward to continuing to provide you and your family with the same excellent care provided by Dr. Hashimi and Dr. Pelaez. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to meet with you and discuss your dental concerns.
